Overview

Cedarnom helps people send greetings and host events. This page explains how we handle information when you RSVP to an invite or use the product.

RSVP and guest identity

Phone or email is required. This is only shared with the host. We will not text or email you.

For invitees, we do not send email codes or one-time SMS passwords. Your name and contact details will be stored on this event so the host can see who RSVP'd. Your personal information will also be used to send calendar and event updates if you choose to receive them. It is never used by us for marketing or sold to third parties.

Invitees and hosts

Invitees RSVP on an invite without creating an account. We share their name and contact details with the host so the host can see who responded, and we use that contact information for calendar or event updates they choose to receive. It is never used by us for marketing or sold to third parties.

Full users create an account and host events. As a site user, you may receive emails and SMS from us about your account and the product.

If you RSVP as an invitee and later create an account to host, you may receive emails and SMS from us as a site user.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate the product (for example hosting, authentication, email/SMS delivery when you opt in to updates, calendar feeds, and Apple Wallet passes). They process data only to provide those services for us.
